Carers Forum December

Lily Asch from the Scottish Storytelling Centre will provide a workshop and introduction to the art of storytelling. There will be a further two workshops for those who wish to develop their skills around storytelling. Dates for these will be confirmed on the 14th.

New to the carers forum? The Carers Forum enables carers the opportunity to meet and look at information about current changes and developments within mental health, and to discuss and collectively address these issues and move them forward to make a difference. We also run regular fun sessions that allow carers to have time out for themselves and meet others who may be in similar situations.  The Forum also provides a clearer means for carers to feedback and make suggestions to help us ensure we are providing what carers want from an advocacy service. As a carer-led organisation, created by carers for carers, our goal is to focus on the issues that are the most important for carers.

Venue: 11-2 pm at the ECC offices at The Canon Mill. 1-3 Canon Street (corner of Eyre Place), Edinburgh EH3 5HE.

Please note our office is located in the Capital City Partnerships offices (entry is via the main door on Canon Street, just buzz to let us know you’ve arrived). The following buses stop at Canon Mills: 23/27/13/17/8/36.
