Edinburgh Community Bookshop Supports ECC in March 2023

Edinburgh Carers Council has been sponsored by Edinburgh Community Bookshop for March 2023!

Each month, Edinburgh Community Bookshop nominates a different local charity that's based in Edinburgh and supports people in the community. They do this by donating most of their profits from that month directly to the charity. You can visit the bookshop and buy some lovely donated second-hand books to help raise funds for ECC (for March only)

ECC Independent Advocacy Funding

Edinburgh Carers Council has been funded by city of Edinburgh Council to provide independent advocacy services to unpaid carers since 2012.  Unfortunately this funding will end on 30 June 2023 as the Council has decided to give the funding to another organisation.  This means that there will be some changes in our advocacy provision over the next few months.   We do not yet have the full details of these changes but will keep you up to date as we progress discussions with the new organisation.
